Questions

Asked a lot.

More on the talent resources pages, or ask on live chat.

How do I get voice over jobs online?

Send us a demo. If your sound and studio are up to it, you join the roster and castings that match your voice arrive by email, usually the same day the client posts them. You read the brief, record at home and upload a take. The client listens and picks.

Are these castings real?

Yes. Every casting on this page is real and came through The Voice Realm. Thousands of castings come through the site every year, and our clients love it because they don't have to wade through submissions from amateurs like on other sites.

Do I have to bid or quote for each casting?

No. Every casting is priced from one published rate card before it reaches you, so you never bid against another actor and never have to guess what your voice is worth.

How often are new castings posted?

Most days. Thousands of castings come through the site every year, from clients all over the world, and each one is usually cast within a few days of going up, so the board above changes constantly.

Do I need a home studio?

Yes. Clients expect broadcast quality files, so you need a quiet, treated space and a proper microphone. Turnaround is usually same day or next day, and a client can direct you live if the casting needs it.

What kinds of voice over work come through?

Commercials for TV, radio and the internet, e-learning and training, corporate and explainer videos, narration, phone systems, audiobooks, promos and character work, in more than a hundred languages and accents.

The next one could be yours.
