Voice over recording studios

The studio is wherever the voice is.

New York, Los Angeles, London, Sydney, and a few hundred other places. Every voice on the roster records in a professionally treated studio of their own, so you book the voice and the room comes with it.

How a session works

Remote, directed, or in your studio.

Self-directed from your brief

The everyday case: you send the script and the notes, the voice records in their own studio and the files arrive within the turnaround on their profile.

Directed live, remotely

You join a call, hear the read in real time, give notes between takes. Booked by the hour on the rate card; most sessions are done inside one.

The voice comes to you

Have your own studio and want the actor in the room? Many voices in the big cities will come to your session; it is the same hourly line on the rate card as a remote one.

How hiring works here

Three steps, no middleman.

You deal with the voice, the site holds the money, and the price is the one on the rate card before you start.

1

Post a casting, or pick a voice

Paste a few lines of your script and post a free casting; voices who suit it read those lines back to you. Already heard the one you want? Book them straight from their profile.

2

Choose from real reads

Auditions arrive as recordings of your words in their voice, usually within hours. Pick the one that fits, or none of them. Nothing is owed until you book.

Directed sessions, remote or in your studio, are the hourly line on the rate card; editing and mixing afterwards is production.

Questions people ask

Studio questions, answered.

Do you have your own recording studios in New York, LA, London or Sydney?
The voices do. Every voice on the roster records in a professionally treated studio of their own, and the roster has voices in all four of those cities and many more. You book the voice, and their studio is part of the booking.
Can I direct the session live?
Yes. Book a directed session and you are on a call while the voice records, giving notes take by take. It is priced by the hour on the rate card and most sessions finish inside one.
Can the voice actor come to my studio?
Often, in the larger cities. Say the studio address and the date in the casting; voices who can be there will say so. It is the same hourly line on the rate card as a remote session.
How do I know the home studio is good enough?
Play the demo and listen past the voice: a treated room has no echo, a respected microphone has no hiss. Voices are screened for exactly that before they are listed, and the satisfaction guarantee covers the booking.
